Great news for all (Canon) photographers: Canon yesterday announced the new Canon EOS 5D Mark IV DSLR. Like it's predecessor, the Mark III, it is a full frame camera with very good specifications.One of the most interesting features, for me at least, is the “Dual Pixel RAW” feature. A feature that allows one to perform some very sophisticated image microadjustments (focus), bokeh shift, and ghosting reduction – during post processing!*
*currently only possible with Canon's own DPP
While I haven't yet seen this in reality myself yet, this sounds as a really powerful feature that other camera manufacturers should have a look at implementing too!
The 5D Mark IV will be available beginning of September for around $3,499.00 / €4,129.99 (body only)
